Have you taken any recent trips?  Where & what did you learn?  Over school break we went to Spain. We visited Madrid, Toledo and a small town called Arajuez. The cathedral in Toledo was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.I learned a lot in Toledo about the construction of the cathedral. We also had dinner at a family friend's house in Arajuez and It was nice because I could speak French instead of Spanish. Once we got back from Spain, we drove up north to Rennes and visited with my host Dad's family. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and eager to help me with my French.

Have you made any new friends this month? Who and how did you meet? All of the family members. Some of my host brother's friends and classmates.

SCHOOL: How many days of school have you missed this Semester? ___0__ Why?                                 

 How are your classes? _Good! I am actually able to complete some assignments and my friends help me with my writing (which is horrible). In English class I speak in French and it's amazing how I can explain things in French when they don't understand a word.                                               

What is currently your hardest class & why?  Still Spanish.                                              

 What sports or community activities are you participating in? I've started playing tennis at the local club, and I attend a step/gym class twice a week.
