Midge Stork announced that our opportunity drawing was a $50 gift card to Aloha Steak House donated by Bob Noville.

Joe Strohman thanked everyone who came out to support Rotaract at Leashless Brewing last night.
 
Greg Jones spoke about Student of the Quarter and asked for volunteers to sponsor the students.
 
Greg Frye spoke about Poinsettia sales and asked everyone to get out and sell, sell, sell...
 
Todd Juvonen spoke about the United Way Day of Caring this Saturday and thanked all the volunteers in advance for helping out. Todd also said that the next Community Service meeting would be on September 26th at 6:00 pm at the YMCA.
 
Jim Word passed around 2 flyers for the Ventura County Museum, one was information about becoming a docent and the other was for a lecture series at the Museum.
 
President Harriet announced that we would be participating in the Ventura-South Trivia contest. The proceeds from this fundraiser go towards Ventura County Literacy projects.
 
President Harriet also passed around a clipboard to sign up for the District Governor's reception on September 25th.
 
The District Conference is almost here and it's a great way to meet other Rotarian's in our district. The cost for the conference is $199 and the club will reimburse members $25 if they attend.
 
Joe Strohman conducted an interview with Ayn Devera, Ayn's last requirement to get her blue badge. After the interview was completed, President Harriet presented Ayn with her blue badge! Congratulations Ayn!
