Bill Crookston led us in the Flag Salute.

President Bruce took a few moments to tell us that the National Anthem at the NBA Finals game in Cleveland was sung by the crowd. Very impactful and moving!

Guests: Guest of Jeff Hata was Shelby Bishop, guest of Tom Swan was Laura Romano. Visiting Rotarian was Hutch from Ventura-Downtown.

Bill Crookston gave our Inspirational Message.

Michelle Cekov announced that the raffle prize was a $50 Visa gift card.

Laura Romano spoke about what's going on at the Girl Scouts, besides selling cookies! The mission of the Girl Scouts is Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

John Borneman led us in a song.

President Bruce asked for people celebrating June birthdays or anniversary's to stand and be recognized.

Tom Swan asked for volunteers to help Downtown with the Fireworks at Ventura College and let us know that we needed to be ready to set-up for the Push-em Pull-em parade at 9:00 on the Fourth of July.

Alison Thompson gave our joke of the day.

President Bruce told us that long time Downtown Rotary member, Terry Schaefer passed away. Terry's funeral will be at 11:00 am on June 15th.

Bob Pazen gave a recap of upcoming programs.

Husam Hishmeh told us about his trip to the R.I. Convention in South Korea.

President Bruce asked everyone to please turn in their completed roster sheets and reminded us that the Step Down Dinner was 6:00 on June 12th at the Wedgewood Banquet Center. Dress code is shirt and tie for men and "Nice" for women.

Joe Strohman asked for employee of the quarter nominations to be submitted.

Midge Stork conducted the raffle and our lucky winner was Judy Hoag!!!
