Nancy Schram spoke about the new library on the east side which will be on Hill St. Kathy Thompson from Friends of the Library was also here. Kathy told us that Friends of the Library has made a $200,000 commitment to the Hill St. Library. Kathy told us that Friends of the Library has been around for 50 years and asked the club for muscle to help move books for a used book sale. 
 
President Husam led us in the Flag Salute.
 
Guests and visiting Rotarians: Guest of Bill Klope was is Granddaughter Elizabeth Oldenstock. Guest of Joe Strohman was his daughters Olivia, Hannah and Marie.
 
President Husam and Past President Bruce McGee passed out some awards that were late in arriving. President Husam also told us that we received a "Gold Club of Distinction" award and also a "Membership Achievement" award.
 
President Husam read a thank you letter from Trevor Godfrey, a scholarship recipient this year.
 
President Husam also thanked everyone who attended the Step-Down dinner.
 
P.E. Harriet Clune passed around a clip board with roster information and asked everyone to correct any "bad" info!
 
Todd Juvonen reported on the Push-em Pull-em parade and said that we need more volunteers to cover the intersections. The most important part of our job is to keep traffic off Main Street until the parade is over.
 
Olivia Strohman, incoming Rotaract President, reported on upcoming projects for the next year, Mexico Build in November, Christmas Party at the City Center. Olivia also thanked the club for all the support we gave last year and presented President Husam with a framed picture.
 
Midge Stork said that the raffle prize was donated by John Masterson and that the prize would remain a secret until the drawing.
 
John Borneman led us in a song.
 
Bill Hicks gave an update on Monte Widders. Monte is doing well and is cancer free!
