President Bruce thanked Harriet Clune for taking attendance and Michelle Cekov for greeting.
 
Harriet Clune ran the raffle today for Midge Stork and announced that the raffle prize was a gift card that was good at many local restaurants.
 
Husam Hishmeh gave our Inspirational Message followed by the joke of the day given by Ron Polito.
 
President Bruce passed around the duty roster for the remainder of the year and asked everyone to please sign up.
 
President Bruce told us that the board meeting last night was very robust and was happy to announce that we have established a strong board the next few years and that many newer Rotarians have stepped up and will be getting involved with the board.
 
President Bruce also let us know that when we made the decision to drop the BBQ team we also lost about $4,000 in income that we need to make up. As a club we will have to come with a plan to correct this between now and the end of the year.
 
Jeff Hata spoke about Operation Splash and our donation of $6,000 to fund this program at the YMCA. The YMCA is having thier "Annual Campaign" celebration night on March 4th at 6:00 pm at the Masonic Lodge. We will be presenting the YMCA with a check on that night. We would like as many club members as possible to come out and show support for the program and also let the YMCA Campaigners see and get to know who we are.
 
Jeff Hata also spoke about the Magic Night at the Poinsettia Pavilion on February 13th at 7:00. Proceeds from this fundraiser will go to help the Poinsettia Pavilion with much needed funds to help with the maintenance of the Pavilion.
 
President Bruce asked how many people had their dominos in their pockets after Tim's membership talk last week. Only a few people raised their hands. President Bruce admonished the club to carry their dominos to remind themselves to invite new members. We don't have a membership problem, we have an inviting problem.
 
President Bruce went over the "Young Professional" designation. To qualify the candidate must be between the ages of 21 and 35. They must attend a minimum of 6 meetings/year and pay club, district and R.I. dues monthly. They must also be active in an Avenue of Service. They will only be charged for meals when they attend a club meeting. A person can hold this designation for a maximum of 2 years.
 
Kathy McGee said that the social last weekend to see Bill Spellman's play was a lot of fun! It was very entertaining watching Bill disappear through a trap door.
 
President Bruce did a recognition session with the topic being the Super Bowl.
 
Harriet Clune conducted the raffle and our lucky winner was Greg Frye. We sold $120 in tickets today!
