Meeting December 1, 2016

Our guest, John Hansen, led us in the Flag Salute.

 

Guests today were: Guests of Kris Hansen was Kris' wife, Coral, and son John who is deploying to Germany for 2 years. Guest of Bill Gray was Mason Gray. Guest of Michelle Cekov was husband Mark Mulchay and guest of Alison Thompson was Juan Gurerro.

 

Midge Stork told us that today's raffle prize was a bottle of Labyrinth Sauvignon Blanc and a bottle of Four Brix Rhondevous donated by Jeff Hata.

 

Tobias Hildebrand gave our Inspirational Message.

 

Rich Stewart reminded us that we are bell ringing for the Salvation Army in 2 weeks.

 

Todd Juvonen thanked everyone who brought canned goods today and that they would be used to help Rotaract with their can tree at the Collections in Oxnard on Saturday.

 

John Masterson thanked everyone who signed up for the cruise. Now we just need to book a few more cabins to get a complimentary cocktail party.

 

Harriet Clune reminded us that the Christmas Party is coming. We have 40 signed up so far.

 

Today is Poinsettia Delivery Day!!!. Judy Hoag told us that we have 267 cases to deliver today and that we had drop ships to Pacific View Mall, La Cumbre Mall and to Hishmeh Enterprises!

 

Kathy McGee thanked everyone who came out to the Botanical Gardens Social. The Rotary Site campaign has begun and we have $99,500 pledged already. We need $125,000 in pledges to break ground!

 

John Hansen spoke about his military service experiences and what he looks forward to the next two years in Germany.

 

Midge Stork did our raffle and the lucky winner was Bob Noville.
