President Harriet informed us that Past President Steve Tucker had passed away yesterday after a battle with cancer. There was a card being passed around for members to sign to send to Steve's wife.
President Harriet also asked us to keep the people of Houston and all of Texas in our thoughts and prayers.

Amber Stevens spoke about the United Way's Day of Caring on September 16th. There are 3 projects that we will participate in.
Husam Hishmeh let us know that Victor Cai will be passing through on his unicycle trip from San Francisco to Santa Monica.

President Harriet reminded us about the Trivia Night at Garman's Pub. It looks like we will have two teams of men and women participating that evening.
President Harriet went of the survey results. We scored 95% in July and 83% in August, but only about 20% of the club responded to the questionnaire. Please take the time to respond when it comes out. The questionnaire is only 1 question so it doesn't take a lot of time to do.
