Floating Doctors meet with Rotarians

Thursday, August 25th, Dr. Ben LaBrot will be speaking to the Rotary Club of Ventura-East about Floating Doctors.

On Thursday, August 25th, Dr. Ben LaBrot of Floating Doctors will be giving a presentation to Rotary Club Ventura East about his experiences with the globally-mobile medical team to deliver medical relief to thousands of people in the most remote coastal areas of the world. They operate from a green energy platform - the expedition sailboat Southern Wind - which carries portable diagnostic technology. Rotary is an international organization of business and professional men and women giving back to their communities. The Rotary Club Ventura East supports a medical clinic in Nicaragua as well as providing funding for many local Ventura projects.
