Be there this Thursday as we honor the recipients of the Four Way Test Essay Contest. We also have some birthdays to celebrate this week: Sam Marsh and Bruce McGee, Jeff Hata, Rich Stewart and Husam Hishmeh.
I can’t thank you all enough for the wonderful tribute to the District theme of “Let’s Have Fun” for my step-down; it was fabulous!! Thank you for the honor and appreciation you bestowed upon me and all the wonderful gifts to enjoy with my granddaughter. I think it may be a first for a step-down to be a shower for a grandparent. Genius! It has been an amazing year of growth and engagement; I have learned so much about what it means to be Club President; the duties, the honor, the opportunities. I know we will all be on deck to support Dawn Knowles as she embarks on her adventure as President. I wish her smooth sailing, meaningful projects and an abundance of new members.
Stay tuned for Dawn’s first message on this platform, and buckle up for another great Rotary year.
Please remember that Rotary is a neutral zone. Thank you for respecting and enjoying the a-political, non-religious aspect of our organization.
It’s been an honor and a privilege.
See you Thursday.
