This week we welcome Sonny Horses 4 Kids equestrian therapy as our featured program. Their motto is: one child at a time, and no child left behind. Join us and bring a friend.
Our 2nd annual St. Patrick’s Day Party and fundraiser at Topa Topa Brewing is coming right up, Sunday March 17th. Tickets are $25 again this year: Irish Stew and a brew, plus live entertainment. The Firefighters Pipe Band will be gracing us with their presence again this year, as well as the Claddagh Dancers and live Irish tunes. Proceeds will benefit the Walk for Kids and Ronald McDonald Family Room at VCMC. Tickets will be available this week and the full information is on our website. And in your email soon.
The Butterfly Wine, Beer, Food Festival fundraiser we do in partnership with the Girl Scouts is not until June 8, but the time to ask for sponsorships starts now. If you have a favorite wine tasting room, brewery, or restaurant, consider asking if they would like to participate in the event. Business sponsorships for $500 and up are also most welcome. Flyers are on the tables at each meeting and will be available on our club website. Also, consider getting certified as a food/beverage server. See Cal for more information.
There were 22 of us at the Greek at the Harbor for our February Social last week. We rotate to a different restaurant every month, so if you have a recommendation, let me or Margarida know.
Ventura South is having their Mardi Gras party on March 10th. If you are interested in tickets, let me know.
